Since last summer, where I shared with you my comics, I’ve been working a lot! Here are some new comic strips and some updated ones.
I’m also happy to tell you that my book will soon be available. Check my Instagram or Facebook for updates!
I’m 32 years old and have been drawing comics since I was a kid. About a year ago I started to draw little comic strips consisting of 4 frames with no words. The drawing part doesn’t take me much time, as I like having a pretty rough style. Coming up with the right stupid joke and twisting them in a not-so-stupid way, however, does.

The main goal of my illustrations is to make people laugh. As I don’t have any words in my comics, they can be understood by everyone anywhere, and I find it pretty great to be able to bring people together like that.
I started drawing as a kid, then I did art school. I wanted to work in the animation industry. But then I couldn’t join the school I wanted, so I went into graphic design. I’m working as an art director in advertising today, so I never really left the artistic world.
The most difficult thing with these illustrations is to find a good idea that will be funny. Then also finding how to make them in 4 frames and without words can also be pretty challenging!
I’ve always been a big fan of dark humor, I think it’s a very fundamental kind of humor, as it makes it possible to laugh at everything, even the things that can be scary for us human beings, like death for example. And being able to laugh at these subjects makes them a bit less scary!
I try to have a pretty simple style of drawing. I try to make things as simple as possible for my readers to get to the point of the joke as easily as possible, as sometimes the jokes themselves are not so easy to get! I would also say that most of the time my comics are pretty stupid and sometimes absurd, but I try each time to have a clever twist to the story.
I started these comics about 4 years ago, and I think I’ll continue as long as I find ideas and as long as some people continue enjoying them!
Sharing them keeps me going forward, I have a great community on Instagram, and they really help me continue. It’s always a great feeling when you know people like your work.
I would advise people who want to start art to do it! To share their art, listen to what people say about it (except trolls or haters), not to be afraid to fail sometimes, and when they do, to keep trying, and to keep improving.
I started doing these comics when I was a bit bored with my job, but just shared them on Instagram without thinking that this would get to be so big, and I’m really glad it did.
I’d like to thank the Bored Panda community, and I hope they will enjoy my work too! Thank you.
